Robert C. Dunseith, QC is a partner practising in our business solutions practice group with a focus on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, succession planning and forestry law.
Rob received his LL.B. in 1980 and his Bachelor of Arts in 1976, both from the University of Alberta. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 1981. He completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) In-Depth Tax course and has served as an Executive Member of the Canadian Bar Association, Tax Section - Northern Alberta.
Among his community involvements, Rob is a member and past President of the Rotary Club of Edmonton West and was President of the Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta from 1999 to 2002. He is a former board member of the Catalyst Theatre. He volunteered with the Players de Novo, a group of lawyers and judges which stages live theatre fundraising events for the Victoria School Foundation and independent Edmonton theatre companies. In 2015 he performed in "The Beaux' Stratagem". He also served for several years on the steering committee for this annual event.
Rob has completed numerous marathons, two Ironman triathlon competitions and represented Canada in the World Triathlon Championship (2004) in Madeira, Portugal.
