Robert Drucker is a Co-Managing Partner at Peckar & Abramson PC, based in River Edge, New Jersey. He is a former structural design engineer with significant hands-on experience in both the construction industry and the curtain wall industry prior to practicing law. This technical background, including the ability to read and interpret complex design drawings and specifications, informs his legal work and supports his analysis of technically intensive construction matters. With more than 30 years of experience handling construction disputes at Peckar & Abramson PC, Rob approaches client matters from both technical and legal perspectives.
Rob’s practice focuses on Construction Law and Litigation – Construction, providing comprehensive legal services to participants in the construction industry. His work includes the formation, negotiation, and administration of construction contracts; bid protests; and ongoing counseling during project performance. He regularly assists clients with the resolution of claims involving extra work, alleged defective work, project delays, suspensions of work, loss of productivity, lien claims, subcontractor disputes, safety matters, OSHA compliance and litigation, insurance coverage, and surety claims.
Rob represents owners, contractors, subcontractors, and other industry professionals on public and private construction projects, including heavy civil, power, pipeline, transportation (highway, rail, bridge, and marine), commercial, residential, healthcare, and educational facilities. His experience spans proceedings in federal and state courts, appellate courts, mediations, arbitrations, dispute resolution boards, and administrative forums throughout the United States.
Rob is also the developer of ProjectNotice®, a software-based risk management tool for the construction industry designed to help users track and comply with contractual, regulatory, and statutory notice requirements on construction projects. In addition, he frequently presents to construction industry clients nationwide on legal and risk management issues affecting construction projects.
