Rick Kornfeld is a seasoned litigator who has tried numerous cases in state and federal courts. A former federal prosecutor, Rick specializes in white collar criminal defense, corporate compliance and internal investigations. Rick’s clients include numerous Fortune 500 and publicly traded companies, responsible corporate officers, licensed professionals and individuals.
Prior to entering private practice, Rick prosecuted white collar, violent and organized crimes as an Assistant United States Attorney in Chicago. His practice emphasizes cases with federal and international implications. Rick counsels corporations, directors and other personnel regarding federal laws affecting environmental controls, securities, fraud, healthcare and immigration compliance. An experienced investigator, Rick conducts internal investigations on behalf of corporations, boards of directors and audit committees.
