Richard D. Schuler is the founding partner of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller & Overbeck, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Since the firm began in 1978, he has actively been involved in representing plaintiffs in Civil Trial Litigation throughout the State of Florida and nationally. He is a graduate of Cornell University and Syracuse University. Since 1984, he has been Board Certified by The Florida Bar as a Civil Trial Lawyer.

- 2001 Anthrax Case
Most of his practice has been devoted to representing injured plaintiffs in complex matter including trucking/automobile accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, airplane crashes, construction accidents, boating accidents, and toxic exposures. He had the privilege of representing the only family to bring a successful claim as a result of a wrongful death suffered from the bioterrorist Anthrax attack that occurred in 2001 that took ten years to bring to conclusion. The United States Government and the Department of the Army were the prime defendants.
