A strong academic record in law school led to Richard Harris’ selection as a law clerk intern to Chief Justice John Mowbray of the Nevada Supreme Court. Mr. Harris is committed to legal education and taught Law Practice Management for 5 years as an adjunct professor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Boyd School of Law. He is Patron of the Nevada Justice Association Series on Continuing Legal Education named in his honor.
Mr. Harris received a post-J.D. LL.M degree (Master of Laws) in Dispute Resolution in 2009 from Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. In 2010 the Nevada Justice Association selected Mr. Harris for the Badger Award, the association’s highest honor for public service. In 2015 the State Bar of Nevada appointed Richard Harris to the newly created Board of Personal Injury Specialization as an examiner. Richard Harris is a Board-Certified Personal Injury Specialist. In 2016 the Nevada Justice Association honored Richard Harris with its prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
