Ricardo San Marcos de la Torre

Ricardo San Marcos is Managing Partner of Vaciero and of the Insolvency and Insolvency Department of Vaciero, leading the projects of application and processing of insolvency proceedings and refinancing agreements regulated by the Insolvency Law. As an expert in complex restructurings and insolvencies, he has coordinated transactions for the acquisition of partial business units of companies in closure or liquidation processes. He has also been appointed on multiple occasions as insolvency administrator and receiver of companies in difficulties.

He holds a degree in Business Management and Administration from the University of Oviedo and a degree in Law, with a special mention in Law and Business from the Universidad Internacional Isabel I. He holds a diploma in Management Development from ESADE, complemented his training in business management with programs in Strategic Marketing from ESADE and Digital Marketing from ESIC. He has extensive experience in continuous advice on consolidation and restructuring of companies, business development and management consulting. He has participated in processes and negotiations for the acquisition of companies and businesses, both nationally and internationally. He is also an official auditor and insolvency, civil and commercial mediator.

He is a regular speaker at forums, courses and seminars and a collaborating professor at the University of Oviedo. He is also the author of numerous articles and opinion forums. He is also Vice-President of the Mediation Institute of the Principality of Asturias.
