Rebecca (Rossi) Ellul is an associate in the Firm’s Labour, Employment, and Human Rights group, with a growing practice focused on supporting employers across a wide range of workplace matters. She represents both unionized and non-unionized employers in labour arbitrations, employment litigation, and human rights proceedings, and has particular experience advising federal sector clients on their unique obligations, including pay equity compliance.
Rebecca regularly provides strategic guidance on day-to-day employee relations issues and is actively involved in the drafting and review of employment agreements, ensuring alignment with evolving legal standards and recent case law. She also assists clients in developing and updating internal workplace policies, including human rights policies, to ensure legal compliance and promote inclusive work environments.
In the sphere of labour, employment and human rights litigation, Rebecca’s experience includes preparing pleadings and documentation, representing clients in mediations, and preparing for and attending hearings or civil actions on the merits. She is also involved in conducting workplace investigations, bringing a thoughtful and thorough approach to sensitive matters.
