Raymond Lyons is a partner with Lipe Lyons Murphy Nahrstadt & Pontikis Ltd. in Chicago, Illinois. He is a member of the firm’s product liability, construction, transportation, and tort defense practice groups. His practice focuses on the defense of product liability, construction, transportation, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and insurance-related litigation in state and federal courts nationwide. Mr. Lyons serves as vice-chair of the product liability group of the Primerus Defense Institute. He has received an AV peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting recognition by members of the legal profession for ethical standards and legal ability.

With more than 30 years of jury trial experience, Mr. Lyons has litigated hundreds of matters in state and federal courts across the United States and has tried more than 40 cases to verdict. His experience includes representing clients in industries such as manufacturing, construction, transportation, insurance, and services. Mr. Lyons has substantial experience handling product liability, construction, fraud, transportation, and insurance defense matters. He has represented pressure container manufacturers and agricultural equipment manufacturers in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. He has also served as national trial counsel for pest control and lawn care companies, representing these clients in transportation, toxic tort, construction defect, general liability, and insurance litigation matters.
