Dr Stefan Lammel is a lawyer and managing partner at the Freiburg office of Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner and a certified specialist in corporate and commercial law. His focus is also on business succession, M&A and restructuring and insolvency. He is a member of the Freiburg Bar Association’s Working Group and Corporate and Commercial Law, the Centre of Insolvency and Restructuring at the Mannheim University and speaks German and English.

Before he joined our law firm, Dr. Norbert Hebeis headed the EU trademark department of a large US company (pharmaceuticals, consumer products) for ten years. He has been a partner of FGvW for 16 years and specializes in trademark and design litigation and prosecution, unfair competition litigation and counselling. Christian Aufdermauer studied law at the University of Tübingen and the University of Lausanne (antitrust law). Bettina Backes studied at the University of Bonn. This was followed by a long-term period of employment in the publishing industry and the intensification of her specialization in a law firm focused on media law and several years as a partner in a trans-regional and internationally-oriented commercial law firm in Stuttgart. Hans-Georg Kauffeld studied at the universities of Bayreuth and Freiburg, he took his doctorate at the University of Freiburg (Dr. jur.). He then worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Commercial and Business Law of the University of Freiburg.

After studying law and economics at the University of Freiburg, Ekkehard Hagedorn undertook his legal traineeship in Paris, with study periods at the London School of Economics. Ekkehard Hagedorn took his doctorate at the University of Freiburg (Dr. jur.). He is currently a member of the board of examiners for specialist attorneys in the field of inheritance law and of the Working Group on Inheritance Law of the German Bar Association (DAV).

Roland Kläger studied law at the University of Freiburg and holds a doctor of laws (Dr. jur.) from the University of Tübingen. Hendrik Thies is a partner in the corporate law / M&A department of the Freiburg office. He particularly advises medical device manufacturers. His practice includes corporate law, M&A, international commercial law and regulatory advice. Hendrik Thies is the author of numerous publications and a member of the Working Group on Commercial and Corporate Law of the Freiburg Bar Association. He speaks German and English.
