A native of Summerville, South Carolina, Randy has a long resume of administrative, corporate, and environmental law credentials. He clerked at the South Carolina Administrative Law Court and has practiced before that court on a variety of matters and serves as Vice Chair of its Rules Committee. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has certified him as an Environmental Specialist. In addition to working on corporate transactions and governance issues for non-profits, state agencies, and private companies of different sizes from single member LLCs to Fortune 500 companies, he has appeared before all appellate and trial court levels in South Carolina and before the federal district and circuit courts.
Additionally, he is a state certified circuit court arbitrator. He also has served as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina School of Law on state administrative law and is a frequent lecturer on legal issues. He has also testified before the South Carolina General Assembly on a number of issues.
Randy serves as the General Counsel for the South Carolina State Ports Authority and as General Counsel for Palmetto State Armory. He serves on the College of Charleston Board of Trustees and chairs its Academic Affairs Committee. He also serves on the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce board and on its Executive Committee.
