R. Guy "Guy" Taft

R. Guy Taft is a seasoned Cincinnati commercial litigator with extensive experience representing clients across Ohio in complex disputes involving intellectual property, unlawful competition, breach of contract, fraud, partnership and shareholder disputes, advertising and First Amendment issues, employment law, product liability, health care, and commercial real estate. His intellectual property litigation background includes patent, trademark, copyright, and counterfeiting matters. He has also served as an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, handling commercial and IP disputes, including software licensing cases.

Recognized as a Best Lawyer® in commercial litigation and appellate practice, Guy has earned the AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubbell for more than 30 years. He is a former president of the Cincinnati Bar Foundation, past trustee of the Cincinnati Bar Association, and a Master of the Bench with the Potter Stewart American Inn of Court.
