Biography
R. Daniel Settle, Jr. has more than 40 years of experience in public finance, representing cities, counties, special districts, nonprofit corporations, investment bankers and other financial institutions in connection with structuring financings for a variety of projects including public infrastructure, economic development, affordable housing and health care. Mr. Settle is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the Texas Association of Bank Counsel.

Structured and negotiated the merger of Fort Worth’s two children’s hospitals to create Cook Children’s Medical Center, and served as counsel to the Hospital and as Bond Counsel in the financing of the construction of a new hospital and related facilities
- Public Finance
Involved in development, financing and the structuring of economic development programs for the Texas Motor Speedway; the Federal Express cargo package sorting and distribution facility at Fort Worth’s Alliance Airport; a 200,000 square foot retail and museum facility for the City of Fort Worth and Cabela’s; the relocation of Radio Shack’s headquarters; the revitalization and development efforts in downtown Fort Worth, including its Convention Center and Convention Center Hotel; the structuring of financing for Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport; and the financing for various institutions of higher education including Texas Christian University and Texas Wesleyan University
