Pia E. Riverso

Pia E. Riverso is a commercial litigator with more than 30 years of experience representing businesses and individuals in complex civil matters. Her practice includes Construction Law and Litigation - Construction, as well as disputes involving business dissolutions, shareholder conflicts, restrictive covenant claims, insurance and surety matters, intellectual property litigation, and FINRA arbitrations. Based in New York, New York, she represents clients in state and federal courts and in arbitration and mediation proceedings.

Pia regularly counsels owners, developers, architects, construction managers, and contractors on a wide range of construction law issues. Her work includes negotiating and drafting design and construction agreements, advising on access agreements for adjoining properties, and addressing payment disputes, delay claims, and performance-related conflicts. She also assists clients with strategies to manage and resolve construction disputes before litigation when possible and represents them throughout arbitration, mediation, and court proceedings when disputes move forward.
