Philipp von Braunschweig

Philipp von Braunschweig is a partner at POELLATH in Munich.

For over 25 years, he acts as a trusted advisor to well-known entrepreneurial families, management teams and, in particular, private equity funds on transactional M&A, venture capital with a focus on leveraged buy-outs and private equity, including management equity programs.

He is consistently ranked among the leading lawyers for his private equity and M&A practice.

Philipp is a member of the German-American Lawyers' Association and the New York State Bar Association. He was admitted to the bar in Munich in 1992 and in New York the following year. Philipp studied law in Heidelberg, Freiburg, and New York (LL.M., Fordham University, 1993) and worked as an attorney at a large German law firm from 1992 to 1997.

Philipp is a lecturer and chairman of the executive board of the postgraduate course of studies for business law and corporate structuring at the University of Muenster.

His publications include various articles on M&A and private equity-related topics.
