Peter W. Wong, K.C.

Peter practices primarily in the areas immigration and citizenship law. As a Canadian immigration law practitioner, Peter has prepared and filed all types of immigration and temporary status applications. This includes federal skilled worker, Canadian Experience Class, family class sponsorships (spouses, children, and parents), business class, provincial nominations, special programs, and humanitarian and compassionate applications for permanent residence. Peter's practice includes the preparation and filing of work permit applications, study permit applications, temporary resident permits (criminal and medical inadmissibility), temporary resident visas (visitor's visas), rehabilitation applications (criminal inadmissibility), work visas to the United States (CUSMA (TN), and intra-company transfers (L1)). His work includes both the preparation and filing of initial applications and renewals from within Canada.

Peter has appeared before the Federal Court of Canada, Federal Court of Appeal, Immigration and Refugee Board (Immigration Appeal Division, Immigration Division and Refugee Division), Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, and Provincial Court of Alberta (defending Immigration prosecutions). He have over 35 years of experience with immigration and citizenship litigation at all levels of appeal and judicial review.
