Peter Schorling

Peter Schorling is Managing Shareholder of Greenberg Traurig's Berlin office and co-chairs the firm's German Corporate Group, focusing his practice on M&A transactions. Peter advises on all aspects of M&A, real estate and corporate law, providing in-depth expertise in buy-side and sell-side transactions, private equity, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and capital markets. This in particular includes cross-border projects for international clients. Peter has wide-ranging experience advising clients in the real estate, data centre and media, technology & telecommunications sectors.

Based on his extensive experience, Peter is recognized by all legal directories as a leading advisor in his field. He is perceived as an “excellent lawyer” and as “sharp and a quick thinker, which enables him to adapt quickly in negotiations” (Chambers and Partners 2024 and 2025). He was awarded “Lawyer of the year 2018 and 2017, Private Equity” by Handelsblatt. Prior to joining the firm, Peter worked at other international law firms, as well as for Merrill Lynch, Global Principal Investments, in London.
