Peggy McGehee handles land use and environmental permitting, litigates boundary and easement disputes, and negotiates real estate contracts. Her clients include energy companies, utility and manufacturing companies, citizen associations, developers, individual applicants, hotels and motels, and educational institutions. Ms. McGehee is a shareholder of Perkins Thompson. Ms. McGehee is AV Peer Review Rated for Ethical Standards and Legal Ability by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© since 2012 in the practice area of Real Estate Law.
Prior to joining the firm, she was law clerk to the Hon. Edward T. Gignoux, Chief Justice, U.S.D.C., D. Maine.
Ms. McGehee and her husband, Maine Supreme Court Justice Andrew M. Horton, have three daughters and one son.
