Pavel Melnikov brings with him 10+ years of professional experience in government relations work, CSR, and crisis communications from both previous government work and private industry.

Pavel started his career at the Federal Customs Service. After that he worked as the Press Secretary to Igor Artemiev, State Duma Deputy and current Head of the Federal Anti-monopoly Service (FAS) both at State Duma and FAS. Thereafter Pavel spent three years with Pirelli tier company, holding responsibilities for corporate PR in Russia and seven years as the Vice President on Government Relations and Crisis Communications at the Moscow office of Grayling, the global PR and GR agency.
Since 2018, Pavel is invited to write an overview of the regulations related to Government Relations in Russia for the international legal guide Getting the Deal Trough.
Pavel graduated with Honours from the Management Faculty of the Russian Customs Academy. In 2014 he finished several courses on Global compliance, Global corporate lawyering, Antitrust and Competition law. He is regularly invited to give lectures at the prominent Russian universities such as Moscow State University (MGU), Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), Higher School of Economics and others. Pavel also held special courses on Public Affairs at the MGU and MGIMO.
Pavel is a member of the Government Relations league uniting Russian Government Relations professionals and a member of the Russian Public Relations Association.
