Paul Riethmuller

Paul Riethmuller has more than 30 years' experience as a lawyer in the construction and infrastructure sector. Paul was a partner at leading national and global law firms for 25 years before starting his own firm in 2020. He is recognised as one of the leading construction and infrastructure lawyers in Australia.

Paul has drafted and negotiated key construction and procurement documents for infrastructure projects, drafted template contracts and contract user manuals for use by organisations across their operations, and advised on tender documents and tender process issues.

He has drafted contracts for the construction of multi-million dollar projects, including for mineral processing facilities, renewable energy generation, power transmission infrastructure, offshore and onshore LNG facilities, defence works, roads, urban regeneration, power stations, and rail and port infrastructure.

Paul’s dispute resolution experience includes litigation (Supreme Court and Federal Court, including appeals), adjudications, arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
