Paul Dicks, K.C.

Over the course of a long legal career, Paul has represented clients in virtually every area of law and appeared on at every court level from Provincial Courts to the Supreme Court of Canada. He specializes in difficult, complex litigation. When not engaged in litigation, Paul acts for clients in various corporate and commercial matters including acquisitions, sales and financings.

Paul also spent 12 years as an MHA in the Provincial Legislature serving as Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Minister of Finance, President of Treasury Board, Minister of Mines and Energy and Speaker. He also served 2 terms as a Director of the Bank of Canada and Chair of the Boards of Directors of Newfoundland Hydro and its associated entities.
