Paul DeMuro

Paul DeMuro is a member at Frederic Dorwart Lawyers PLLC whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, trial advocacy, civil rights litigation, securities litigation, oil and gas disputes, construction litigation, intellectual property and trade secret litigation, employment litigation, and select criminal defense matters. For more than 30 years, he has represented businesses, financial institutions, energy companies, healthcare organizations, governmental entities, and individuals in high-stakes disputes involving significant financial exposure, regulatory scrutiny, and reputational risk. Clients turn to Paul to handle "bet-the-company" litigation, complex trials, appeals, FINRA arbitrations, and other business-critical matters requiring strategic advocacy and seasoned courtroom experience.

Paul has tried cases and argued appeals in state and federal courts throughout the United States and has represented clients before FINRA arbitration panels, major private arbitration tribunals, and the London Court of International Arbitration. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, he also serves as an Adjunct Settlement Judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma and is a member of the court's Criminal Justice Act Panel. Paul earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he graduated second in his class, served as Notes Editor of the UNM Law Review, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He received his Bachelor of Arts in United States History from Princeton University.
