Paul D. Peterson is a founding partner of Harper & Peterson PLLC in Woodbury, Minnesota, where his practice is focused on civil litigation, including Insurance Law, Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs, Product Liability Litigation - Plaintiffs, and Professional Malpractice Law - Plaintiffs. He represents individuals and families in matters involving serious personal injury, wrongful death, insurance disputes, and other complex litigation throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Mr. Peterson graduated from Florida State University and Hamline University School of Law, cum laude. He is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) and the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA). He is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin and has represented clients across the United States alongside his law partner, Bill Harper.
Paul is a member of the American Academy of Certified Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He previously served as President of ABOTA’s Minnesota Chapter. He is also a frequent lecturer for continuing legal education programs addressing personal injury litigation, wrongful death claims, insurance issues, and trial practice.
Throughout his career, Mr. Peterson has handled trial and appellate matters involving damages, settlements, insurance bad faith, and the relationship between third-party tort claims and workers’ compensation law. His work has contributed to notable legal decisions affecting injured individuals and their families.
