Pat Linden is the founder of Linden Law Partners in Denver, Colorado. His practice focuses on corporate law, business law, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional matters for companies, entrepreneurs, and investors. Before founding the firm in 2015, Pat spent 15 years practicing with the Denver and Boulder offices of large regional and international law firms. Over the course of his career, he has advised clients on numerous early‑stage and venture capital financings and has served as lead counsel in mergers and acquisitions transactions ranging from hundreds of thousands of dollars to approximately $700 million. His work regularly involves counseling businesses and executives throughout the Rocky Mountain region on corporate governance, strategic transactions, and growth-stage legal matters.
Law Week Colorado has recognized Pat in multiple editions of its Barrister’s Best publications, including honors related to mergers and acquisitions and private equity. He has also been selected to Colorado Super Lawyers® in the mergers and acquisitions category for several consecutive years from 2020 through 2023.
Pat attended the University of Denver, where he was an athlete and later served as an editor for the University of Denver Law Review while in law school. He has also taught MBA courses at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, sharing practical perspectives on business transactions and corporate law. Outside the office, Pat enjoys spending time with his wife and their two daughters, following Denver Broncos football, and exploring Colorado’s back-country on challenging four‑wheel‑drive trails.
