Patrick is a healthcare and litigation attorney with extensive experience advising healthcare providers, organizations, and individuals on a wide range of complex legal matters. With a deep understanding of the ever-evolving healthcare industry, Patrick offers strategic counsel to help clients navigate regulatory challenges, compliance issues, risk management, and litigation.
Patrick regularly represents clients on both substantive and procedural aspects of health facility regulation, such as licensure and certification surveys, compliance, Medicare/Medicaid, payment matters, HIPAA, fraud and abuse, and professional liability. Patrick also has significant experience in representing healthcare clients before state and federal regulatory agencies, including in Change in Effective Control and Certificate of Need proceedings and throughout Hospital Conversions Act review.
Patrick is also a member of the firm’s Cannabis Practice Group, where he has experience assisting clients navigate licensing, regulatory, and compliance issues.
