Patricia Gonzalez

Patricia is a partner with Parlee and primarily practices in the areas of employment law, human rights, labour law, and insurance defence. Patricia has successfully represented both employees and employers in relation to wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, breach of contract, negligent misrepresentation, harassment, discrimination, requests for accommodation, and workplace investigations. Patricia also has extensive experience drafting workplace policies and employment agreements including confidentiality agreements, non-competition and non-solicitation provisions.

In addition, Patricia has experience representing clients in the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Appeal as well as the Alberta Human Rights Commission, Canada Industrial Relations Board, Federal Court of Canada, and the Tax Court of Canada. Although Patricia is well versed in the procedures of civil litigation, she also has extensive experience with alternative dispute resolutions such as settlement meetings, judicial dispute resolutions, and mediations.
