Pamela Jenson, who has practiced exclusively in the field of family law for more than 30 years, is a 1982 graduate of the University of Washington School of Law and a 1979 summa cum laude graduate of SUNY Buffalo, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Pam has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 1999 and has also been included annually in The Best Lawyers in America and New York Super Lawyers. Her practice includes the negotiation and drafting of prenuptial agreements, the negotiated resolution of marital and family disputes, representation of clients on post-divorce issues, and a growing practice in the field of collaborative law. She is a member of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Westchester Women’s Bar Association, and the Family Law Sections of the New York State Bar Association and the Westchester County Bar Association.
Although she litigates when necessary, Pam is committed to helping her clients navigate the difficult process of divorce in a respectful and efficient manner outside of court whenever possible. Known for her calm, empathetic, problem-solving approach, Pam’s goal in every matter is to assist the parties in resolving their differences in ways that allow them to productively move on with their lives and, when there are children, to co-parent in a manner that minimizes the often-negative effects of separation and divorce on children. As one of her clients stated: “Pam - thank you for everything. EVERYTHING. Yours is not an easy job…. Thank you for shielding me from as much as you could, for your outstanding and unending professionalism, and for your compassion as well. You are a fine and talented attorney, and I am grateful that God put you on my path for counsel and kindness when I needed it most.”
