Biography

Orestes Garcia is a bilingual (English & Spanish) business and real estate litigator who guides business owners, investors, and contractors through high-stakes disputes with a clear, strategic plan designed to achieve practical, cost-effective results. Born and raised in Miami to Cuban parents, he combines a deep understanding of South Florida’s business culture with rigorous advocacy and business-savvy legal counsel.

Clients rely on Mr. Garcia not only for his skill in the courtroom but also for trusted day-to-day guidance in preventing and resolving disputes. His practice includes representing clients in breaches of contract, partnership and shareholder disputes, property and construction litigation, trademark registration and brand protection, and structuring deals that secure long-term growth.

After graduating in just three years from Florida International University’s Honors College with a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems, Mr. Garcia earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. His commitment to pragmatic, results-oriented representation stems from personal experience: witnessing his parents’ small business struggle through a legal battle with a competitor. That early insight into the stakes for entrepreneurs continues to drive his mission to help clients resolve conflicts efficiently, so that they can focus on building their businesses.

Outside the office, Mr. Garcia is an avid Miami Heat fan, enjoys playing basketball, and can often be found exploring new restaurants in South Florida.
