Olivier joined Rivière I Avocats I Associés in 2006, as a junior associate dedicated to urban planning and heritage law issues in the real estate restoration operations department, after initial professional experience within a leading law firm.

His areas of expertise include urban planning and development, environmental, public property, public real estate contracts and energy.

From the moment he joined the firm, Olivier had the ambition to partner with and make the firm count at the national level in its field of activity, while helping to stimulate excellence in all its departments, through a sustained publications policy and ambitious recruitment.

In 2011, he defended his doctoral thesis in public law ( the protection of architectural heritage at the crossroads of urban planning rights and architectural heritage ) and then founded, the same year, with the support of the managing partners, the department of public real estate and energy law (DPIE).

He became a managing partner in 2014, obtained a specialization in public law and urban planning law in 2018, and became a member of the Association of Lobbying Lawyers. Olivier played an active role in the creation of the Department of Public Law and Public Action Strategy (DSAP), which was headed by Pierrick Raude, in order to strengthen the advisory activity dedicated to local authorities and their public institutions, in complementarity with the DPIE.
In 2022, Olivier was appointed president of the ACE's public business law section.

Olivier involves his team in accelerating the development of his department and the firm. The firm has experienced strong growth over the past 10 years, driven by selecting the best lawyers and developing their skills. It currently consists of five partners, ten associates, and two scientific advisors.

The positioning of the DPIE he heads is clear: "the defense of public and private projects." For him, this positioning must be embodied in a team of highly specialized lawyers dedicated to the acceleration and success of projects. In fact, Olivier and his team have been developing a national clientele of public and private institutions in the real estate (local authorities, public development, land, or hospital establishments, developers, land companies, real estate developers, social landlords) and energy (renewable energy developers) sectors for over 15 years. They currently support more than 100 projects per year through the exclusive concept of "legal project management," which notably offers a rigorous methodology for auditing building permits. This support constitutes one of the most powerful operational tools for anticipating and accelerating the management of contentious issues for the firm's clients.

Olivier also advises professional organizations representing the firm's clients to propose and help them bring reforms to the government or assemblies.
