Oliver Decker

Dr. Oliver Decker heads the inter-office Financial Services Legal division as a Partner. As well-known expert in the market, he advises on all aspects of regulatory and investment law as well as structuring, particularly regarding direct and indirect investments in alternative investment funds for institutional investors with a focus on asset managers, capital management companies, insurance companies and pension funds.
In addition, Dr. Decker advises on the restructuring and liquidation of funds.

• Structuring and documentation of open and closed-end alternative investment funds and multinational investment structures in the areas of credit, private equity, securities, infrastructure and real estate funds.
• Implementation of securitisation structures (esp. fund-linked notes).
• Licensing procedures with BaFin and related to the establishment and organisation of capital management companies and financial service providers.
