Norman Klick is a civil litigator who represents medical professionals, insurance companies, businesses and individuals in matters involving professional liability and commercial disputes.
He also provides extensive consultation in risk management, conflict resolution, licensing and professional disciplinary matters, including healthcare credentialing disputes.
Norman has successfully defended numerous medical malpractice claims and other matters in jury trials and arbitrations across the state. He also has successfully argued cases before the North Carolina Court of Appeals and North Carolina Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a prestigious invitation only organization of the nation's leading trial attorneys.
Whether consulting with his clients on day-to-day issues or aggressively litigating on their behalf, Norman is known for his experience and commitment. “I try to apply the same hard work and dedication to each client’s legal matters that I would if I were representing a member of my own family,” he says.
Norman has advised and represented a number of other high-profile clients, including professional athletes, a Grammy Award-winning rock band and a well-known rap artist. He currently serves as vice president and general counsel for Proehlific Park, a sports and fitness center created by former Carolina Panther and two-time Super Bowl winner Ricky Proehl. Norman assisted in the creation of the park and serves as its primary legal counsel.
Norman himself was a “walk-on” member of the North Carolina State University baseball program during his undergraduate days. Inspired by his background in athletics and the interests of his own young sons, he now is actively involved in coaching youth sports teams.
