Nora T. Ciancio

Nora Ciancio's legal practice focuses on healthcare defense, offering representation for healthcare practitioners in investigations and hearings before their respective licensing boards in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Her areas of practice also include credentialing, Medicare and Medicaid issues, OCR investigations, third-party payor audits, and risk prevention. Prior to joining Goodman Allen Donnelly PLLC in Glen Allen, Virginia, Nora gained extensive experience in healthcare law through her work at healthcare nonprofits and state agencies, offering her a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare system from varied perspectives. Additionally, her practice extends to equine and animal law. Passionate about animals, she owns a horse boarding business in Hanover County and has been an equestrian for over 20 years. Her personal experience with animals extends to her own pets which include a warmblood, OTTB, a rescue pony, two rescue dogs, and a three-legged cat.

Nora became a part of the firm in 2017 at its Richmond office. She is an alumna of the University of Richmond where she earned her Bachelor of Arts, and she holds a J.D. from The Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law.
