Nikita Matthew is an associate in the Family Law Group at Torkin Manes LLP in Toronto, Ontario. Her practice focuses on a broad range of family law matters, including parenting issues, property division, domestic contracts, and complex financial matters.
Nikita has focused on family law throughout her legal education and professional career. During law school, she participated in the Walsh Negotiation Competition and placed second overall with her team in the 2021 Walsh Moot Competition. She also volunteered as a Mandatory Information Program presenter with the Windsor Court and worked extensively with the family group at the Windsor Community Legal Aid Clinic. Nikita continues to support legal education and advocacy training as a coach for the Windsor Law Negotiation Competition team.
During her articling year and participation in the Partner Intensive Program at Torkin Manes LLP, Nikita gained experience handling a wide range of family law matters through both litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes. She works closely with clients to help them address family law issues in a practical and thoughtful manner while pursuing efficient resolutions tailored to their circumstances.
