Nicolas Sapp

Nicolas Sapp specializes in all areas of intellectual property law, particularly in patents, trademarks, copyrights and industrial designs. He renders legal opinions in all these fields.

Nicolas Sapp’s practice is also comprised of litigation and alternative dispute resolution in matters such as trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, patents and industrial designs. He is also specialized in the drafting and negotiating of commercial conventions namely licence, assignment and distribution agreements. He advises clients in the management of IP portfolios.

Nicolas Sapp has practiced at a national intellectual property firm in Québec city, before joining ROBIC at the opening of the Québec office.

For several years, Nicolas Sapp has taught Intellectual Property Law to undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Law of Université Laval. He also taught Multimedia Law at the Faculty of Planning, Architecture and Visual Arts of Université Laval.
