Nicolas R. Werle

Nick Werle represents clients in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels and before state attorneys general and federal prosecutors. He regularly represents companies, executives, public officials, government entities, and nonprofit organizations in their most sensitive and high-stakes matters involving criminal, trade secret, antitrust and deceptive trade practices issues. Mr. Werle also has experience with affirmative litigation against executive orders and regularly counsels companies, elected officials and executives facing unusual or politically motivated pressure from the federal government. In the trade secrets space, Mr. Werle has represented both plaintiffs and defendants at every stage of litigation, from temporary restraining orders through trial and appeal, in state and federal courts and in arbitration.
