Nickolas G. "Nick" Spiliotis

Nick Spiliotis is a partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group, where he counsels employers regarding a broad range of workplace issues. He is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Nick’s practice crosses multiple industries, representing clients in the oil and gas, restaurant and hospitality, banking, maritime, manufacturing, and construction arenas. He acts as a strategic advocate who seeks to minimize the possibility of employment litigation for his clients through effective counseling. Nick is a respected and tenacious advocate when contentious claims arise. Nick works with attorneys in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group who have employment-related concerns and issues with mergers and acquisitions. He also routinely drafts employment agreements containing restrictive covenants and handles the enforcement and defense of such clauses. He regularly represents employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Texas Workforce Commission, the US Department of Labor, and the National Labor Relations Board. Nick has served two separate three-year terms on the Houston Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section Council.
