Biography
Nicholas W. Bartlett is an associate who is part of our Business Litigation, Eminent Domain and Professional Liability Practice Groups.
During law school Mr. Bartlett was a judicial extern for the US District Court, Northern District of Ohio. He also worked for a legal non-profit as an intern and Eastman & Smith as a law clerk. His practice includes general litigation and professional liability as well as representing landowners in eminent domain matters. Additionally, Mr. Bartlett is the vice chair of the Defense Research Institute's DRI for Life (Wellness) subcommittee.
While earning his law degree from the University of Toledo, Mr. Bartlett was the note and comment editor of the University of Toledo Law Review. He authored “Honing in on Hardware: Data Security Concerns of Large Companies.” Mr. Bartlett also gained valuable litigation experience while competing in Mock Trial. Prior to law school, Mr. Bartlett earned a degree in sports management from Cleveland State University, where he was part of the Frank J. Ruck Leadership Institute. This organization mentors Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity members in soft skills such as leadership and communication.
As you may suspect of someone with a degree in sports management, Mr. Bartlett enjoys sports (especially college and pro football). What you may not expect is Mr. Bartlett is a musician as well, focusing on the drums. His cat, Carl, is neither musical nor a sports fan. They reside in Toledo.
