Nicholas Avis

Nick Avis is an associate in the Insolvency and Restructuring Group. His practice focuses on financial restructurings, corporate reorganizations and refinancings, and special situations involving business distress. Nick has acted for corporate debtors, secured and unsecured creditors (including creditor committees), purchasers and court-appointed officers. He has extensive experience structuring transactions and acting under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
