Nate has experience in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, including representing various parties in contract, trust, property, real estate and insolvency-related disputes in both State and Federal court. Nate has represented clients at each stage of the litigation process, from pre-suit negotiations to trial. He has also argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on a post-conviction habeas appeal.

Nate's bankruptcy practice includes the representation of debtors, financial guarantors, indenture trustees, creditors and shareholders in Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings. In his role as special litigation counsel, Nate has prosecuted hundreds of adversary proceedings concerning preferential transfers and/or fraudulent conveyances, and has successfully resolved these matters through mediation or otherwise.

Nate is dedicated to providing pro bono services and volunteering in the local community. In his partnership with the Victim Rights Law Center, he regularly represents victims of domestic violence and has helped his clients obtain several 209A and 258E restraining orders, including a lifetime order. He also volunteers for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, including at their annual Boston Gala and Hot Pink events, and for Tina's Wish as a member of their Boston NextGen Group. Tina's Wish is a charity founded in 2008 in memory of the Honorable Tina Brozman, former chief justice of the SDNY Bankruptcy Court who died two years after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
