Nathan is an experienced insurance litigator with more than 20 years' experience advising insurers on workers' compensation, CTP and liability claims.

Currently, Nathan advises clients on CTP litigation with particular experience in major claims and catastrophic injury, including the application of the Lifetime Care and Support Scheme; administrative law; public liability litigation; recovery under s151Z of the Workers Compensation Act 1987 (NSW); recovery under the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (Cth); and property damage.

Nathan has worked with a number of Australian and international insurers, brokers and self-insurers.

Nathan is a passionate supporter of pro bono and community initiatives and is Hall & Wilcox's Head of Pro Bono & Community. He also held leadership positions over the course of 8 years with Australian Lawyers for Human Rights including two years as President.

Nathan has attended the United Nations in Geneva in 2011 as part of the Child Rights Taskforce, worked with the National Children’s and Youth Law Centre and in 2010 was an intern for the International Committee of the Red Cross looking at the guardianship and rights of children in immigration. For 10 years he has and continues to volunteer regularly at the Marrickville Legal Centre. He has also previously volunteered at the Refugee Advice and Casework Service (RACS) for a number of years. His connections in the human rights and community legal sector has assisted him in developing a successful national pro bono & community practice at Hall & Wilcox.
