Morley received a BA degree (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and JD degree (Magna Cum Laude, Order of the Coif) from the University of Michigan. He also earned a master's degree in political philosophy from York University. After law school, he clerked with Judge Philip Pratt in the U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Michigan. He is past president of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association and the Jewish Foundation of Washtenaw County. He serves on the firm's Executive Committee.
