Morgan Ricketts is a partner at Hadsell Stormer Renick & Dai LLP in Pasadena, California, where her practice focuses on civil rights litigation, labor and employment litigation, police misconduct cases, and trial advocacy. She represents individuals in state and federal courts involving workplace disputes, constitutional rights violations, wrongful arrest, excessive force, and other complex civil litigation matters.
Before joining Hadsell Stormer Renick & Dai LLP, Ms. Ricketts worked with Quinn Emanuel and LTL Attorneys. She has also represented criminal defendants facing charges ranging from DUI offenses to special circumstances murder cases. In 2012, she founded her own law firm with a focus on civil rights and employment litigation, representing clients in challenging and high-profile matters throughout California.
Ms. Ricketts has represented protesters asserting First Amendment claims, including matters connected to class actions arising from the Ferguson and George Floyd protests. Her practice has also included representing prisoners alleging systemic deficiencies in custodial health care systems, individuals who were wrongfully arrested, and clients alleging serious injuries resulting from police misconduct.
