Milton “Milt” D. Stratos II is a third generation Charleston-based plaintiff trial lawyer and partner at Stoney & Stratos, LLC. His practice focuses on representing individuals and families harmed by negligence and wrongdoing in serious personal-injury and wrongful-death matters. He handles cases involving motor-vehicle and commercial-trucking collisions, premises liability, product defects, insurance disputes and bad faith, medical malpractice, defamation, civil-rights claims, construction defects, and aviation, admiralty, and maritime liability.
Milt’s work is grounded in a plaintiff-only practice: advocating for injured people and their families—not insurance companies or corporations. He approaches each matter with focused preparation, direct client service, and a commitment to pursuing accountability when serious harm could have been prevented.
A graduate of the Charleston School of Law, Milt has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® for Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs since 2024 and was selected to Super Lawyers for 2026. He is a member of the American Association for Justice and serves on the Board of Governors of the South Carolina Association for Justice. He has also lectured for the National Business Institute on effective settlement-negotiation strategy.
At Stoney & Stratos, Milt and his firm partner selectively handle cases throughout South Carolina, bringing trial experience and the firm’s full resources to each client they represent.
"I take pride in aggressively representing my clients with integrity, competence, and humility. When I’m not practicing law, I am spending time with my growing family, or enjoying the outdoors."
