Born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Michael moved to Edmonton in 2006 and joined Weir Bowen in August 2012. With a focus on medical malpractice and personal injury, he is dedicated to helping clients achieve justice in complex cases involving medical negligence.
In his role at Weir Bowen, Michael brings extensive knowledge to the field of medical malpractice and personal injury. As a member of the Birth Injury Lawyers Alliance (BILA) and the firm’s medical malpractice and personal injury teams, he excels in managing complex medical evidence and coordinating with expert witnesses. Michael has represented clients and achieved notable successes in both the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and the Alberta Court of Appeal, reflecting his dedication to securing favourable results for clients in challenging cases.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys playing sports including hockey, and cherishes time with his family. As a dedicated dad to four children, he values quality family moments.
