Michael R. Sherer

Michael Sherer is a Shareholder in the Labor and Employment Section at von Briesen & Roper, s.c. He focuses his practice on employment litigation, employment law counseling and contract administration for a wide range of clients across multiple industries including health care, long term care and public school districts.

Michael has significant experience in employment litigation and specifically with handling wage and hour claims, employment discrimination, FMLA claims, and restrictive covenants including non-competes and NDAs. He has represented clients in state and federal courts and in arbitration and mediation proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and state and local administrative bodies.

Michael is admitted to practice law in both Wisconsin and Illinois and prior to joining von Briesen worked for several years at a litigation firm in Chicago.
