Mr. Geary has written extensively in the area of family law and has spoken on multiple occasions on a number of topics important in the area of family law. Some of his articles and publications include Difficult Valuation Issues, Reimbursement claims, Tracing, Characterization, Characterization and Attacking Trusts, and Family Limited Partnerships.
Mr. Geary was a Member of the State Bar of Texas Family Law Practice Committee from 1994-1999 and served as Co-Chairman from 1994-1996 and is a Past President of the Dallas Bar Association Family Law Section.
Mr. Geary is certified as an arbitrator by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is a former arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Mr. Geary handles all aspects of family law matters including Pre and Post Marital Agreements, Divorce and Property Division issues as well as Characterization, Reimbursement and Tracing issues. He has extensive experience in handling matters involving corporations, partnerships and limited partnerships including their valuations in divorce matters.
