Biography
Michael N. Kreitzer is the Co-Chair of the firm's Litigation Group. He has been a Florida Bar Board Certified Attorney in Business Litigation since 1997. He has a broad commercial trial practice, with extensive experience in both jury and non-jury cases in state and federal trial courts, as well as appellate courts. His practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, lender liability and related financial institution litigation, construction litigation and shareholder and partnership disputes. He also represents clients in eminent domain concerns, trusts and probate matters, common carrier law and product liability disputes, as well as intellectual property claims, professional malpractice and commercial landlord/tenant disputes.
Michael has substantial experience in all aspects of construction matters and litigation. He often represents developers and contractors in the negotiation of construction contracts utilizing traditional and non-traditional delivery systems (Design-Build, CM, CM at risk, Stipulated Sum and Cost Plus) and has had extensive involvement in work-out and take over strategies related to troubled construction projects.
