For more than 42 years, Michael “Mike” Bruno has represented clients in complex legal matters throughout Toledo and Northwest Ohio. As a trial attorney at Charles E. Boyk Law Offices LLC, Mike focuses on personal injury litigation, including car accidents, truck accidents, serious personal injury, insurance litigation, and Personal Injury Litigation - Defendants.
Before entering private practice, Mike served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office. In that role, he prosecuted hundreds of felony matters, including two death penalty murder trials. His background in criminal prosecution helped develop the courtroom and litigation skills he now applies to civil cases involving serious injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and insurance disputes.
Mike transitioned to civil litigation in 1989 and has since handled more than 100 jury trials in Ohio courts. He represents individuals and businesses in personal injury and insurance-related litigation, working closely with clients through every stage of the legal process. His practice includes cases involving catastrophic injuries, trucking collisions, automobile accidents, and disputed insurance claims.
Throughout his career, Mike has obtained substantial verdicts and settlements for injured clients, including a $1.25 million verdict against a trucking company on behalf of a seriously injured individual. He is known for detailed case preparation, practical legal counsel, and strong courtroom advocacy for clients across Toledo and Northwest Ohio.
