Biography
Michael is a litigation attorney handling catastrophic and personal injury, premises liability, and general civil litigation.
Raised in Tampa, Michael graduated from Alonso High School and attended the University of South Florida. There, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and graduated cum laude. After graduation, Michael received his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law.
After graduating from law school, Michael accepted a position as an Assistant Public Defender for the 13th Judicial Circuit in Tampa. During his tenure as an Assistant Public Defender, Michael handled thousands of cases and tried numerous jury and non-jury trials involving misdemeanors to violent felonies. Michael then joined one of the largest and most prestigious civil trial firms in Florida where he defended numerous large insurance companies and their insureds in a variety of civil matters.
Michael’s desire to shift his practice from defending insurance companies to representing the injured is what led him to Kemp, Ruge & Green. Today, Michael is able to use his extensive litigation experience to achieve the best results for his clients.
