Michael Wyatt is a trial attorney at Light & Wyatt Law Group, where he represents people who have suffered catastrophic and serious personal injuries. His practice also includes premises liability and general civil litigation.
Michael began his career as an Assistant Public Defender in Florida's Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Tampa. There he handled thousands of cases and tried numerous jury and non-jury trials, from misdemeanors to violent felonies.
He then joined one of Florida's largest civil trial firms, defending insurance companies and their insureds in a wide range of civil matters. That work gave him direct insight into how insurers evaluate, defend, and value claims. He now uses that insight on behalf of injured clients.

A Tampa native, Michael graduated from Alonso High School. He earned his B.A. in Criminology, cum laude, from the University of South Florida and his J.D. from Barry University School of Law.
