Michael J. Corso is Florida Bar Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and Business Litigation and is also Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. With more than five decades of legal experience, he concentrates his practice in tort and insurance litigation, with a particular focus on defending lawyers, accountants, architects, engineers, surveyors and other professionals. His practice also includes product liability, intellectual property and other complex tort defense matters.
Michael received the 2022 Justice Harry Lee Anstead Award as The Florida Bar Board Certified Lawyer of the Year and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association’s Chubby Damsel Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024. He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® since 2012.
Before entering private practice, Michael served as a U.S. Air Force officer, pilot and aerospace engineer and contributed to the USAF JAG program as a special prosecutor. He holds a degree in aerospace engineering from Purdue University and earned his law degree from Villanova University.
