Michael Henley

Michael Henley is a knowledgeable and skilled business and real estate lawyer. He advises his clients in many aspects of business law, including private mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, succession planning, and bank financing work. He counsels his clients with respect to corporation transactions, including incorporations, shareholder agreements, and purchase and sale agreements. He also advises clients on commercial real estate transactions.

Mike worked as a commercial credit lender for a large Canadian bank and in sales, marketing, and government relations for a large pharmaceutical company prior to attending law school at the University of Ottawa. Mike brings his broad, professional experiences working in the banking and pharmaceutical industries to his law practice, where he strives to provide superior service to each one of his clients with integrity and dependability.

Mike understands the value of strong communities and values building community relationships. An active member of the community, Mike has served on many boards including as chair of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce and as a board member of The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital. Mike also coached hockey at various levels with both the Guelph Girls Hockey Association and Guelph Minor Hockey Association for many years.

Outside of the office, Mike enjoys travelling, playing squash, fishing, and spending time at his cottage with his family and friends.
